Weekend on Big Mountain

We spent the last week in August in a condo on Big Mountain. I bid on it and won it at an auction in May. We coordinated with Niall and Mojic so they could come up and spend the weekend with us. The kids were thrilled to see their Aunt and Uncle and Niall and Mojic had a big surprise for all of us.

Swimming

I forgot to mention that Brendan recently passed his deep water swim test at Woodland Water Park. All the swim lessons that he was reluctant to take paid off over the summer. He can now officially go anywhere he wants in the park without a life jacket or a parent. He also just completed 4 days of swim camp for the KATS team (Kalispell Aquatics Team). He swam and worked out for 3 hours a day for four days. He is a lean mean swimming machine! I am somewhat forcing him to join the swim team so he can keep up his skills over the fall and winter and who knows, he might even have a good time. I've been right once or twice in his life.

The Apprentices

Karl has been dry walling the garage this past week or so. He is now at the point where he has mudded and taped the walls. He recently had two apprentice "mudders" help him out by getting into it while he wasn't looking. Once he realized how dirty they already were, he gave them their own things to spread mud on. They actually managed to get some of it on stuff other than themselves.
