Snowing in the House

I had to get a new vacuum back in January. I unpacked it and went to work vacuuming the upstairs floors. When I was finished, this is what I found! Styrofoam packing can entertain little kids for a long time but it only took them 15 minutes to create this. They even "snowed" the poor dog. Luckily, I had the new vacuum to clean it up. Chad, however, did not appreciate being vacuumed one bit.

Brendan's Blue Heaven

With some gray and red thrown in and some huge wall decorations from Fathead, we have redecorated his room to reflect his love for football, particularly the New England Patriots. Guess how excited he was when they beat the Giants to get to the Super Bowl? He also has Patriots bedding, curtains and Patriot red trim around the window and door. He is also a Seahawks fan and he has a really cool light switch cover that he got from Rayne for Christmas. Now, after the season finally ends, he can still live in a football dream world. Go Pats!

A Light for Jesus

One last picture from Christmas time, then we'll move on to January. Jeanne gave the kids Lego head lamps for Christmas. They look like Lego guys, you push a button on the chest and the light shines out of the feet. Bonus that you can strap it to your head! Anthony was looking at the Nativity set one day. As you can see, he made sure everyone was close to the Baby Jesus. He then decided that it was too dark for the baby, so he hung his Lego head lamp on the star to "help it shine on Jesus." So sweet. Every year they think of something interesting to put in the Nativity. It will be a sad day when all I find there are animal, shepherds and the Holy Family.
