House Hockey

These were taken shortly before Paul left. Paul cut down one of his broken sticks and made Anthony his own Anthony sized hockey stick. So we had little games going on in the house on a daily basis.
Rita played goalie one afternoon, using the laundry basket for the goal. Anthony loved the stick so much he slept with it for several nights!

Chad the Nurse

Rita stayed home from school one afternoon because she was sick. She snuggled up to rest on the couch and when I went to check on her I found out that Chad had snuck up on the couch and Rita took advantage of the warm body to snuggle up to.

February Fun in the Sun!

One glorious day in February, the sun finally had some warmth in it. It was wonderful to spend some time together outside. The wading pool that we use for Chad finally thawed. I went inside to make lunch and found this when I looked outside. It's crazy to remember that when we first moved here I froze even in the spring and summer. Now, when the temp hits 50 degrees, my kids head for the water!

Paul Kinder Hair!

Anthony had been saying no to a haircut for a while. Brendan has been wearing his hair a little longer so Anthony had to follow suit. Paul gave himself a buzz cut after Christmas break. One evening he asked Anthony if he wanted to have hair like his. Of course, Anthony wanted to have hair like his hero's. He tells everyone that he has "Paul Kinder" hair. Here is the result of Paul's handiwork.

Playing Video Games with Brendan

Brendan has finally figured out how to play the Wii with the little kids around. Take the batteries out of the other remote, hand it to them and let them pretend to be playing. It's win win. It will be a bad day when they figure it out.
