I went to a Creative Memories digital scrapbook workshop last evening. It's the first one I have been to in a long time. I had to arrange for someone to cover part of my shift at the hospital so I could go. I had a great time learning new things, visiting with Katie and Jeanne and just getting a break from home and work. Three hours flew by!
Meanwhile, Karl and Granny were having some fun of their own. It was bath night for Rita and Anthony. Rita did a #2 in the potty (we are so proud) before being put into the tub. Anthony did #1 (we are also so proud) and then joined Rita. Karl heard Anthony say "ew", turned around and discovered that Rita was apparently not finished with #2. He pulled both out of the tub, wrapped them in towels, drained the tub, cleaned and disinfected it, refilled it and put both kids back into it to wash them all over again. Once they were out, Rita ran wildly around the house naked while Granny fed the two returning Cub Scouts (Brendan and Rogun) dessert and Karl tried to get Anthony diapered. He then discovered Anthony's #2 in the clean towel (the second one) he had wrapped Anthony in, thus making Anthony's second bath as much of a waste as the first. Once he finally got both diapered and PJ'd and Brendan in the shower, he had the dirty towels to deal with.
And to think, I missed all the fun!

Geez! What a night. It's good for Karl to experience the fullness of toddler-hood. One day, you'll look back (in the beautifully made digital scrapbooks, of course) and miss the pitter-patter of those feet and all that comes with it! Thanks for the invite Tuesday. I learned so much and am having fun experimenting with some pictures.
