Brendan made his first Reconciliation this evening (aka first Confession). Here are some pictures of him with his class and with our priest, Father Vic. I think Brendan set a speed record because he was in and out of the confessional in 30 seconds. Not because he has nothing to confess, but probably because he talked so fast that Father couldn't understand him! We are so proud and look forward to the next few months as he prepares for First Holy Communion.
On the way home we asked Brendan how he felt. I quote: "Well, let me tell you, it's like this. When you're sitting in the pew you are thinking 'Oh my gosh I am so scared'. But then when you get in line it's not too bad and then once you go in the confessional it was really cool."
He also says he intends to go every month. I told him I would go with him and that we could go as a family.
