Grandma Turns 70

Memorial Day also happened to be Mom’s 70th birthday.  Neither Karl or I had to work so we got to spend the whole day all together.  We drove up the canyon to Hungry Horse Dam, made a lunch stop at Lion Lake and drove up the reservoir for a few miles to show Mom the scenery of her new home.  We saw a few osprey sitting on their nests.  We topped the day off with steaks and huckleberry pie a-la-mode.
