Playing Catch Up

I have this friend who is a blogger. Brendan spent the day at their house yesterday. The event was blogged before we went to bed last night. I am so not worthy since my blog is nearly 2 months behind. I would love to use the kids as an excuse, however, this friend who shall not be named has six of them, so I don't think I can get away with it. So, I vow to try to keep up better, especially since Granny Henshaw has gone back to Ireland for the summer.

I may not get very far because I spent a lot of time this afternoon trying to customize the blog, because I am tired of looking at the same old stuff. Mostly I made it really ugly and unreadable and had to spend a lot of time trying to fix it. That's how I learn computer stuff, just keep messing around until it does what I want it to. Not the most efficient way, but it does create an adrenaline rush when you think that people may look at your page and go,"ew, what is that color?"

This is a collage from Easter. We had our friends Rod and Margaret Stell and Jackie Wildgen (honorary grandma) over for Easter dinner.

Granny was here for two weeks in April and we enjoyed her visit very much. Just as the babies were starting to know her though, she had to leave. They'll have to learn all over again when she comes back in the fall. Brendan is old enough to not deal so well with her departure. We were not allowed to say "Granny" for a few days because he would burst into tears.

The weather is finally acting normal for this time of year. Sunny warm, wonderful days mixed in with cold, cloudy, rainy and sometimes snowy days.

And now the twins are up so this will have to wait. Too sunny and warm to sit in front of the computer! I will add pictures later. Hope spring is finding you well.

Back now from an afternoon of play. This is a collage of Brendan and his friend Reese (whose mom is the above named blogger who shall not be named). They have become friends during Cub Scouts and Religious Education this year and Brendan LOVES to spend time with him. They are both sweet boys who have more energy than GE!
